Christina Linaris-Coridou

IIn the 70's Christina worked at a film laboratory (Colour Film Center) in The Hague. Working with film as material, so working with celluloid, inspired her to several objects. Her thesis project at the art academy in Rotterdam contained for instance an animation film scratched in celluloid, representing a mathematical definition. This film was presented at film festivals in Rotterdam (1976) and Tessaloniki (1976).

In 1978 she made a short movie with a similar technique, named The room.

The work Revisited is an object in which a copy of the room was saved as a weaving, as a tissue, a place of time.
